Sponsorship & Advertising Policy

At Persona Design, first and foremost, we protect the editorial integrity of our site, our readers, and our brand.

We do NOT participate in link exchanges, paid backlink schemes, “dofollow” link sales, SEO-only placements, or guest posts whose primary purpose is to influence search rankings rather than serve readers.

We may, at our sole discretion, consider a limited number of clearly disclosed commercial collaborations where there is a strong fit with our audience and subject matter, including brand leadership, brand strategy, branding, rebranding. positioning, differentiation, value proposition, brand audits, design, business growth, fractional leadership, leadership friction (mandate and framework specific), customer experience, innovation, employer branding, culture and related professional services.

What we do NOT accept

We do NOT accept:

  • link exchanges or reciprocal linking arrangements
  • paid text-link insertions into existing articles
  • requests for “dofollow” links or anchor-text manipulation
  • bulk guest posting or agency syndication
  • low-value advertorials or content designed primarily for SEO benefit
  • sponsored content in categories that are misleading, unsafe, unlawful, exploitative, or inconsistent with our brand standards

This includes proposals framed as “editorial collaboration,” “content partnership,” “PR feature,” or “resource mention” where the main purpose is backlink acquisition.

What we may consider

We may consider:

  • a clearly disclosed sponsored article or expert feature
  • a clearly disclosed newsletter sponsorship or sponsored mention
  • a clearly disclosed podcast sponsorship or brand mention
  • a limited strategic partner feature where the content is genuinely useful to our audience

Any collaboration must be relevant, high quality, and capable of standing on its own editorial merit.

Editorial independence

All commercial collaborations are subject to full editorial control by Persona Design Consultants Ltd.

This means:

  • we choose whether to accept or decline a proposal
  • we decide the format, scope, title, structure, tone, and final wording
  • we may edit, shorten, annotate, or reject supplied copy
  • we may require independent evidence for factual, technical, legal, financial, health, environmental, or performance claims
  • we may refuse exaggerated, comparative, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims
  • we may decline any proposal that is not in our readers’ interests

Submission of a proposal does not create any obligation to publish.

Disclosure and compliance

Where we receive payment or any other benefit in connection with content, mention, promotion, review, referral, feature, or link placement, that content will be treated as commercial content and disclosed accordingly.

Depending on the format, disclosures may include terms such as:

  • Sponsored
  • Advertisement
  • Paid Partnership
  • In Partnership With

Where sponsored content is promoted on social media or other external channels, it will also be labelled in a clear and prominent way, for example with #Ad where appropriate.

All advertising and sponsored content must be legal, honest, decent, truthful, and not misleading. Sponsors are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights, permissions, approvals, and substantiation for any materials, claims, data, logos, testimonials, imagery, or comparisons they ask us to publish.

Link policy

Any paid, compensated, affiliate, or otherwise commercial outbound links will be marked in a technically appropriate manner, including rel=”sponsored” where applicable.

We do not sell ranking signals. We do not guarantee “dofollow” links, keyword-specific anchor text, indexing, rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, or permanent placement.

We reserve the right to update, relabel, archive, noindex, or remove commercial content if required for legal, editorial, reputational, or platform-compliance reasons.

Review criteria

We typically assess sponsorship enquiries against the following criteria:

  • relevance to our audience
  • quality and usefulness of the proposed content
  • strategic fit with Persona Design
  • reputational and regulatory risk
  • clarity and substantiation of claims
  • workload, timing, and opportunity cost

Commercial terms

We consider only a very small number of collaborations each year.

As a general guide:

  • commercial collaborations typically start from €1,470 + VAT
  • pricing depends on relevance, workload, format, timing, exclusivity, and distribution
  • all sponsors are charged in advance
  • all opportunities are quoted case by case
  • we do not negotiate around disclosure or link treatment

Before you contact us

Please include:

  1. your company name and website
  2. what you want to sponsor, partner or collaborate with
  3. why it is relevant to our audience and Persona Design
  4. how your sponsorship provides value for our readers/audience and clients (from their perspective)
  5. your proposed budget range
  6. any timing requirements
  7. whether you are seeking a sponsored article, newsletter sponsorship, podcast sponsorship, or another clearly disclosed advertising format

Enquiries that request link exchanges, paid backlinks, or undisclosed commercial mentions will NOT be considered under any circumstances.
